Online marketers believe online videos are just as good as banners

New research has found that almost all marketing specialists think that online promotional videos are simply as good as banner ad campaigns.
89% of
internet marketers asked in a new study said that they feel online videos are a lot more effective than, or as good as, more traditional types of online advertising like banner advertisements. This is up from 66% of internet marketers this time last year.
47%
of people surveyed said that they had already begun using the help of video production companies as part of their digital marketing strategy, with nearly two-thirds (61%) saying that they would consider it as an option in the next year.
As well as watching films on a PC or a laptop, more marketers are becoming aware of using video production services for other locations. 63% of the people questioned said they were familiar with using tablet computers and smartphones for digital advertising, with games consoles and connected Tv sets (a TV with online capabilities).
Businesses from a
variety of different industries as well as sectors can benefit from using online videos to market their products and also services, and companies which aren’t making use of this form of advertising could be missing out compared to their competitors.
